Page 2 - Making scan lines
Now create a new layer (CTRL+SHIFT+N). Now you need to create horizontal lines across the image. The easiest way to do this is to download and install the patterns brushes from spy-glass.net
Once you have downloaded that brush. You should chose the brush tool to apply the new scan lines to your image.

Create a new layer and fill the entire layer with the color: #358AD8 and set the blending option to ?Hue. Then apply these layer styles:

Now while your background is done, you have to make the buttons at bottom, move on to the next page to see how to do that!

Hi,
It all works fine, but the last step, when i click gradient tool and use it on the layer mask the entire font just becomes a bit lighter, i guess its something with the gradient color, but honestly i have no idea. Everything else is great, and your Battlefield 2142 header is awesome!
Btw. did you add any shadows or glows to the vertical lines which u get by brushing it, because in your header they look thicker than in mine.
